Interlaced is the second track from the 2-song “single” or EP by the same name. Interlaced is correlating with Dark Ride and therefore I deliberately chose to continue with the circles theme. However, in this one, the circles are more centred and distinct moving in and out of each other, which in combination with the moving lines as a contrast, creates some quite unique shapes and figures. The visual is a bit more hectic than the one for Dark Ride, which to me just feels right for this track. This video / visual also has a bit of "graininess" to it (edges are not "sharp"), which is on purpose. My music has a lot of grains and glitches to it, and that should also be reflected a bit. I hope you enjoy it. I recommend to watch it with no lights on and with headphones (for the best experience). Dark Ride is a sort of "reshaped" version of " Circles" and is the first track on the “Interlaced” 2-song “single” or EP. For the video / visuals for "Circles", the intention was to create something like this. However, Circles is a quite long track (almost 12 minutes), hence I decided for something different, as this type of video / visual would not have worked with it. For the Dark Ride video / visuals I am using Resolume Avenue and a shape tool / source (that has circle shapes, amongst others). I really like to use audio reactive effects, to make a link between the music and the visuals. However, this time a bit more subtle compare to the last couple of videos / visuals.
