The official visual for "Vision 25" is now available on my YouTube channel. My mind rarely switches off — a restless mind always in motion. It is overflowing with ideas, sounds, images, and thoughts. It might sound amazing, but most of the time it feels like a burden: a constant current that often becomes too much. It happens with everything — music, work, even in conversations — and with the little time I have, I’m often afraid of losing those ideas. I have learned how to park most of them and hold on, but that only adds to the sense of overburden. Vision 25 is another capture of this restless mind in motion. An overload of ideas. It’s not just about the music — it’s an abstract archive of my mind too, all its shapes and surreal structures quietly searching for balance. As I have learned to deal with it, this track gave me what I needed most: a sense of calm, and a clear vision for my upcoming album. The visual reflects this inner landscape: abstract art where industrial shapes, strange architectural forms, and organic textures collide — a compact world where clarity and overload meet. The official visual for "The Diffused Thoughts Collection" is. now available on my YouTube channel. The Diffused Thoughts Collection comes from a mind that never really stops. Thoughts drift in, change direction, disappear, or keep going longer than expected - often with no clear structure, more like a flow. A space where sounds float like fragments, moods emerge without warning, and where even the slowest moments carry as much weight as sound. It is ambient, abstract, and slow-moving. Quietly unfolding. Not designed to build or resolve - but to stay in motion. Not a journey, just the space between moments. The visual unfolds as a comic strip. Multiple panels with surreal scenes. Most remain still, while other panels comes to life with subtle motion that responds to the music. This album comes from a mind that never really stops. Thoughts drift in, change direction, disappear, or keep going longer than expected — often with no clear structure, more like a flow. And this is where these tracks come from.
Each track on the album is just a small part of that wider, fragmented landscape. They’re not aiming to tell a full story or fit neatly together — they’re more like fragments caught in a process. Emerging from the same diffused state, but taking their own form. The sound has a quiet, spacey feel — sometimes slightly sci-fi-inspired, like signals drifting through static. Not loud or dramatic. Not made to stand out — more like something that surfaces when everything else gets quiet and your thoughts come together. This is simply that: a collection. Of sounds, moods, and scattered thoughts — determined and present. "Pathfinder" The first single from The Diffused Thoughts Collection, is out today!
A track about discovery—finding direction, a path, and a sense of self through ambient textures and experimental layers. Give it a listen and step into the journey. The official visual for "Pathfinder" is. now available on my YouTube channel. Inspired by graphic novel aesthetics, the visual captures the feeling of entering a space of uncertainty. Through transitions, subtle effects, and moments of stillness, it unfolds with an evolving, almost spectral atmosphere—suggesting a dreamlike motion. Silhouettes linger in the distance, barely visible, suspended between stillness and movement, hinting at decisions, direction, and change. The result is a quiet, cinematic journey—reflective, uncertain, and quietly transformative. A visual extension of the track—atmospheric, introspective, and full of possibility.
This video showcases the entirety of my debut album as Njordlyd, "Getting Closer," an industrial and dark ambient styled concept album. The album features 10 tracks created using reshaped sounds, samples, and field recordings, weaving them into evolving, immersive soundscapes. In this release, I continue working backward through my catalog of albums, having previously created full album visuals for "The Absence of Noise" and "Correlations." For "Getting Closer," I have used visuals consistent with earlier works (where available), reusing elements from my live performance of "Dark Ride" and crafting distinct, surreal scenes for each track. Each visual reflects the mood of its corresponding track, combining dark, graphic novel-inspired imagery with surreal, abstract elements. Expect circular paths, shifting geometries, industrial environments, grainy textures, faint glitches, and impossible dimensions—all tied together in a surreal, immersive narrative.
I have just released my first-ever live performance as Njordlyd. This 30-minute set weaves together six tracks that reflect my journey from 2021 to now. It opens with an intro based the second part of Circles, flowing into Dark Ride, Correlations Part 2 and 4, Adrift, and The Least—each representing key moments in shaping my sound.
The set concludes with "Out of Left Field", a heavier, more intense track (unreleased) that brings an unexpected edge to the performance. Now available on all major streaming services. |
