Video / Visual for "Getting Closer" is now available

This video showcases the entirety of my debut album as Njordlyd, "Getting Closer," an industrial and dark ambient styled concept album. The album features 10 tracks created using reshaped sounds, samples, and field recordings, weaving them into evolving, immersive soundscapes.

In this release, I continue working backward through my catalog of albums, having previously created full album visuals for "The Absence of Noise" and "Correlations." For "Getting Closer," I have used visuals consistent with earlier works (where available), reusing elements from my live performance of "Dark Ride" and crafting distinct, surreal scenes for each track.

​Each visual reflects the mood of its corresponding track, combining dark, graphic novel-inspired imagery with surreal, abstract elements. Expect circular paths, shifting geometries, industrial environments, grainy textures, faint glitches, and impossible dimensions—all tied together in a surreal, immersive narrative.
